Welcome

 Bosque del Apache  is located in Socorro County, New Mexico. The refuge provides a critical stopover site for migrating birds, including tens of thousands of cranes, geese, and ducks who winter there for the winter. Much of the Refuge is designated as a wilderness area and is home to many  other wildlife species.
